While playing with her friends in a family hut, the house suddenly went up in flames. The others managed to escape, leaving her trapped inside. She suffered serious burns — but against all odds, she made it out alive.
When we arrived in the community, she was able to receive medical treatment and has since been regularly enrolled in physical therapy sessions. These treatments have played a vital role in her recovery, helping her regain mobility and hope for a better future.
She is currently on the path to recovery and has started to regain sensation in the affected areas. Each day, her condition improves, giving her and her caregivers renewed hope for a full rehabilitation.
We regularly organize consultation and screening campaigns, bringing together doctors and healthcare professionals to provide appropriate care and essential medicines to those in greatest need.

Many people, both adults and children, suffered from illnesses without even being aware of them.
Among the most common conditions were hygiene-related diseases, often referred to as “dirty hands diseases,” which spread easily due to the lack of access to clean water and basic sanitation facilities.
Through our awareness campaigns and medical care initiatives, we have been able to diagnose, treat, and cure numerous cases. Beyond providing medical assistance, we are committed to educating communities on proper hygiene practices, such as handwashing, water purification, and sanitation of living spaces.
Our goal is not only to heal but also to prevent these avoidable diseases and sustainably improve the living and health conditions of the most vulnerable populations

For a long time, his parents didn’t know that their child was living with a serious heart condition. With each passing day, his health declined — slowly at first, then more rapidly — leaving his family confused and deeply worried.
They had no access to proper diagnosis or specialized care in their community. It was only when he was finally transferred to King Faisal Hospital in Kigali that the truth came to light. There, he received expert medical attention and underwent life-saving treatment.
Today, thanks to the dedication of the medical team and the support he received, he has fully recovered. He now lives a healthy and active life, full of hope and new beginnings.
